Origin

Lost Souls Trece (LST) was created by Sureño gang members at Idaho Maximum Security Prison to end the war between West Side Loma Locos and East Side Locos which are both Sureño gangs and to unite all Sureño gangs. Over time the group spread to other Idaho prisons and to the streets as members were released from prison.

Leadership

One of the main founders and leaders of LST was Mario Gonzales who was shot approximately two weeks after he was released from prison. Since his death the new leadership of LST is extremely young (17 to 18 years old) making the group very dangerous.

Identifiers

Lost Souls Trece exhibits the generic Sureño identifiers in various manners to denote their allegiance to Southern California. In addition to these identifiers, their tattoos usually display the initials LST or the phase “Lost Souls” to indicate set affiliation.
